Every one of us will face moments when following God involves risk. In Genesis 22, Abraham is called to climb a mountain of uncertainty, testing, and trust, without knowing how the story will end. Yet it is on this mountain that he discovers not only the depth of his faith, but also the faithfulness of God. Sometimes the greatest lessons of faith are learned on the mountains we would never choose to climb. In this message, we will explore what enabled Abraham to say “yes” to God, and what his example can teach us about walking with God, when faith, requires us to take risks.
