ICC ADULT AND CHILDREN SERVICE
This Sunday 17th May, ICC will be having regular adults and children services. In the adults service, Ravi will be sharing a message entitled, “Christian Identity ‘Crisis’!”
The bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” Question: what is old and what is new? When we speak of an “identity crisis”, we normally refer to one who is unable to reconcile their state of being with their state of mind. Could Christians be struggling with such a dilemma? This dilemma sounds like a form of bondage!?! However, we also read in John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Are we free as Christians or still in struggling with our identity? An intriguing question indeed! What sets us free anyways? We read in John 8:32, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” So, the truth sets us free! Question: what is the truth?
Come and find out more this Sunday, you will get all your answers from the Scriptures. You will hear a short sermon followed by Q&A, where you can “shoot” the preacher with your questions, and receive Biblical responses. Invite your friends, and family, who are intellectually stimulated, and seeking true answers for an age-old question: who am I?
