SUNDAY SERVICE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN.

This Sunday, 130425, ICC will resume our adult and children’s Sunday services at Bragesgade 35, 2200 Kbh, from 13:00 to 14:30. In the adult service, Ravi will share a message entitled “Have Mercy on Me, Oh God.”

What does it mean to receive mercy from God? It basically indicates that when we deserve punishment, God lets us off the hook. Instead, He decides to bless us in return. While this concept is hard, if not impossible, for humans to comprehend, that is exactly how God demonstrated His love throughout the Scriptures to mankind.

God’s holiness demands that sin not exist in His presence. God’s justice punishes sin accordingly. However, God’s mercy provides redemption through atonement. Atonement made way for justification—just as if we had not sinned. No other blood than that of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Son of Man, can wash away all our sins. This grace is obtained through faith in Christ.

As children of God, after receiving this mercy, we are expected to extend it to others. When someone struggles being merciful to others, it could stem from the fact that their kindness has been taken advantage of in times past. Only God can heal us of unjustified acts of cruelty from mankind and maintain a posture of divine mercy, having assurance that He is a just God and charge the wrongdoings to Him. We are all under construction, in the hands of a merciful, kind, loving and just God. He will make all things (including us) beautiful in His time.

Come and learn more about this on Sunday in ICC. After the sermon, we will pray for those present to understand, receive, and transmit God’s wonderful mercy. Freely we have received, freely shall we give.

ICC is where you get in touch with God, others, and your divine destiny!
