ICC ADULT AND CHILDREN SERVICES

This Sunday 14th June, ICC will be having regular adults and children services. In the adults service, Kelvin Sam from Nigeria/Aalborg is our guest speaker. Kelvin will share a message entitled: “The Mountain of Risk and Faith”.

Every one of us will face moments when following God involves risk. In Genesis 22, Abraham is called to climb a mountain of uncertainty, testing, and trust, without knowing how the story will end. Yet it is on this mountain that he discovers not only the depth of his faith, but also the faithfulness of God. Sometimes the greatest lessons of faith are learned on the mountains we would never choose to climb. In this message, we will explore what enabled Abraham to say “yes” to God, and what his example can teach us about walking with God, when faith, requires us to take risks.

We will also take time this Sunday to celebrate communion and birthdays of all born in June. Special acknowledgement to those who land on their round birthdays.

A special note of advice to all who are travelling by public transport as both Saturday and Sunday, there is a huge “Copenhagen Sprint” which is a bicycle competition in the city which will disrupt public transport with road closures, especially but routes. Kindly check your local transport guide and give yourself an additional hour for transport time in order not to miss service. Where there is a will, there is a way. For those who come early, feel free to join for a cup of coffee/tea during Kingos fellowship time.
