SUNDAY SERVICES FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN.

This Sunday 160225, we resume adult and children services in ICC from 13:00-14:30 at Kingos, Bragesgade 35, 2200 Kbh. In the adults service, Ravi will be sharing a thought provoking message entitled, “10% to the “BIG” guy!”

Some years ago, a laptop computer was left for repair at a shop in the US that was not reclaimed. After further investigation, the owner of the shop discovered that it allegedly belonged to Hunter Biden, the son of the former US President, Joe Biden. The hard disk on the computer contained many “criminally” based “ sensitive material” (including Hunter giving 10% of his income to the “BIG” guy) so the owner turned it over to the FBI. This was during an election season and 50 credible intelligent agents signed a letter debunking the computer as “Russian” misinformation/disinformation” propaganda and that it did not belong to Hunter.

This mater should have been settled, yet years later, into Joe Biden presidency, further investigation showed that the laptop indeed belonged to Hunter Biden, debunking the 50 credible debunkers!?! In any case, Hunter Biden got a presidential pardon from his father, and the question remains, did the laptop belong to him – or not and if, among other things, did the “BIG” guy get 10% of his shady dealings? Will we ever know the truth? Yet to be seen…

The Bible states that the tithe or 10% of our produce/income belongs to God. Over the years, credible and questionable scholars have argued over the fact that this is an Old Testament edict and does not refer to the New Testament times. Many “experts” have weighted in on it and argued both ways to question the Scriptural validity to the tithe principle. Does GOD (BIG GUY) demand the tithe or is it irrelevant today Is this misinformation/disinformation Bible teaching or can we rely on the principle, let alone practice, of this moral/ceremonial law? The misuse of church funds by many clergy does not help this argument one way or another, only to add injury to insult.

In the light of this, we want to go back to the Sciptures and unfold the concept of an age old word called covenant. This is not a contract, as we understand it, but an agreement that is only broken “till death do us apart”. God made a covenant with Abraham, who understood what a covenant meant in ancient times. We inherited this covenant as children of God by the death of Jesus on the cross. Yet, there are many who are oblivion to this fact, let alone the sovereignty of God as mentioned last Sunday.

Is tithing Biblical? Why does God “need” our substance/produce? Is God broke? Why is there so much “feelings” involved in the entire financial aspect of religion? Do we really hurt ourselves in divine providence if we retreat only to human providence? These questions and much more will be “debunked” this Sunday as we move from misinformation/disinformation to the truth of God’s Word which will set us free.

This is truly a service that you will want to be present and invite your friends and family to listen to. Froward this mail as an invitation to them. You will not regret.

ICC, the place to get in touch with God, others, and your divine destiny!
